Elizabeth Joanna Mitchell, born on the 27th March 1970 in New York City at a height of 5'9" She is a well-known American actor. Her roles includes the role of Dr. Juliet Burke from ABC TV's Lost series and FBI Agent Erica Evans for V. Gia and The Escape Clause. Mitchell appears in Eric Kripke's television program Revolution which is telecast on NBC. Joseph Day Mitchell's stepfather is a lawyer from Dallas, as are the mother of her character Josephine Marian Mitchell. Mitchell as well as her mother and two kids moved from New York in Dallas Texas where Mitchell's mother got married in 1975. Mitchell was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts a public magnet school. Mitchell is the youngest of three sisters the others being Kristina Katherine Day Kate Mitchell and Kristina Kristie Mitchell, and Katherine Day Kate Mitchell. Mitchell trained in acting at British American Drama Academy and graduated Stephens College, graduating in 1991. Mitchell has worked in Dallas Theater Center six years. She is most well-known for portraying the role of Special Agent Emily Prentiss (CBS crime drama Criminal Minds) In June of 2010 it was revealed that her Criminal Minds role would be cut in half for the sixth-season. The character of Brewsters left the show in March of 2011 and is expected to come back to the show when she is older.
