Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the time of 14. Aspen Ladd had training in kickboxing, BJJ, wrestling and boxing before her amateur debut at WCFC at the age of 18. Ladd later went on to win three fights within a row in Ultimate Reno Combat. All of her opponents were defeated within the first minute. In the following fight, she was back at WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen took on Silvia Babaeghian, and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia is superior to Aspen, and beat her with a unanimous decision. Cynthia's records as an amateur were damaged. Ladd bounced back from the defeat, beating Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to improve her record to 8-1. Aspen has signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to start her professional career. Aspen faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and beat her in the first round to win a TKO. The next time she fought, she won at the hands of Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission, and then moved up to Bantamweight for her subsequent fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen employed her impressive grappling skills to defeat McGill and ended her fight via third-round TKO(elbows or punches). Aspen took on Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 at catchweight (138.1lb) in the event that Ladd failed to meet weight. However, Aspen was able to take on Hoy. She won via TKO in the second-round. Invicta FC21 was her final bout for the organization. She defeated Sijara Ebanks via a unanimous vote. Her UFC debut took place at UFC Fight Night 118 where she faced Lina Lansberg. She beat Lina with a ground and pound victory during her second fight. The dominance of her continued, and she won a dazzling victory in her subsequent fight with Tonya Evinger at UFC 229 Ladd was able to defeat Evinger within the first ten seconds and received a bonus to commemorate her performance of the evening. Ladd fought in her debut big fight at The UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Both fighters put up an intense battle that concluded with Ladd winning via unanimous decision with both fighters claiming the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in 16-seconds to break her record of wins. Then she bounced back to win Yana Kunitskaya in the third round of UFC in ESPN 7. In her place, she defeated Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The decision was made unanimously against her.
