Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss' first taste of fame as a fiddler came in 1990, when she was only 19 years old when she won the Grammy for Best Bluegrass Album. It was a feat of awe in many ways, not just because Krauss was young but also because I've Got That Old Feeling was the third album in her collection. Too Late To Cry is her debut album. It came out in Champaign Illinois in the year she was at the age of 16. at the age of 14, she signed her first contract with Rounder Records - one of the world's top folk-based labels. The accomplishments of Krauss at this young age, as much as her skill, have been consistently matched by her ability to maintained her devotion to bluegrass, one of the oldest as well as least-appreciated genres of music. Krauss had been the hottest teenager in America, had developed into an accomplished musician as well as a producer. Alison Alison Alison
